Just got word that Mars Hill from Seattle has turned on their next sermon series web site. PeasantPrincess.com will be a ten week study of the Song of Solomon (a.k.a. Song of Songs). I have to admit I’m rather excited about the whole thing. The times I have heard Pastor Mark Driscoll deal with the book have been both thoughtful and glorifying to Jesus.
Sex is a subject often avoided by the church - outside of regulation - and a respectful look at one of the scriptures most explicit books through the eyes of solid Christ centered teaching is a long time coming.
The series begins on the 22nd and can be downloaded from the Mark Driscoll podcast or linked from the Peasant Princess site directly.
